Advancing the Vision 10-5-18

Today at PLC team meetings, I was reminded about all the little things and BIG things that you all do that I don't even realize! More than once, the conversations went like this, "oh you graph your data yourself??" "What? We do that?" and "You just 'take care of that'?"

When one considers your responsibilities, everything you do and the solid academic progress we have come to expect at our school, the only response can be one of awe.  I am humbled and grateful that I work with a group of teachers who are as dedicated and hard-working as you.

When I went into Mrs. Gentry's and Best's class this week and I saw the amazing differentiation happening and the results of their meticulous planning, I was once again in awe.  It makes me tired just thinking about the time that had to go into planning all of their stations.

As we go about our work we all get busy and overwhelmed at times.  I hope I never get too busy that I neglect to let you know through my actions and words how much I appreciate you.  I would never want you to feel unsupported.   Please enjoy a much-deserved break next week.  Get lots of rest and disconnect as much as you can!!
