Hello all! I can't believe it, but it's time for KPREP practice. We will begin on Tuesday when we come back from Spring Break (April 13). KDE offers practice tests through TestNav (link below). The schedules, accommodations, and accommodators are linked below. This test will not be as long as the actual KPREP. We are letting our kids see what the online version will be like, and work out any kinks we see for the actual test.
Testing will begin at 8:30 am. Around 8:25 I will call for students to go to the holding room (the computer lab). At that time, accommodators will pick up their testing bag containing their student's information and any materials their students will need for their tests, including a Chromebook, and go to the lab to get their students.
For the practice test, we are allowing students to work until finished, as long as they are working diligently. (Everyone technically gets extended time this year. So students with accommodations will get the "extended time" everyone will receive, plus their extended time indicated on their IEP during KPREP).

For students who receive an online reader as an accommodation, their practice is located on the same page. But make sure you choose "accommodated practice test" instead of "practice test."
Students will enter their names, and the test will automatically grade multiple choice questions for you. (It does not grade short answer or extend response questions).
