Virtual Game Night

The buzz...
So...right now we are operating under the Governor's executive order which tells us that we are not allowed to return to in-person learning unless our number of new Co-vid cases is low enough that we are in orange. We anticipate with the holidays, we will continue to be in red for the foreseeable future. This means if you write your lesson plans next week you can plan with some measure of certainty that we will continue to be virtual.
Now, there is talk at the state level of the possibility of allowing us to go back to in-person learning while still in red. Also, it is being thrown out there that this would happen at 50% capacity. Today Mr. Stull met with the elementary principals to see what our thoughts were on how this would happen. NOTHING has been decided. We don't even know if we would be allowed to go back or not; however, it's a good idea to talk about it because this would require some heavy-duty planning. Let me be clear, if we hear anything from the Governor specifically about this in the next week, we WILL NOT make any changes that will take effect right after break. Please watch the video I made that explains the gist of the discussion we had...
Also, know that all this work you have done to make your virtual instruction as high-quality and impactful as possible is not in vain. Every second of connection with students is important and if we have a snow day or are not allowed to be in-person, we will switch right back to the schedule you have worked so hard to maximize this week. Here's a place you can share any thoughts you have about this...
