 1.  Red Ribbon Week
Teachers, please remind your students about Red Ribbon Week next week. We will still participate virtually with dress-up days. Take some pics of your morning meeting screens and send them to me so I can post our kids pics on FB.  There are resources on our virtual website for parents. I will do Facebook posts with announcements and videos each day next week.

2.  End of 9-Weeks Progress Reports
Each grade level has done a FANTASTIC JOB of creating progress reports that will inform parents of where their children are.  As you take a final look at what you have and consider final edits and revisions keep these measures in mind:

Does the progress report communicate...

1. What students should know at your grade level (State Standards, reading level, etc.)? (2nd grade is killing this one!)
2.  What has been covered in class (Virtually or In-Person) so far? 
3.  Where the student is in relation to the standards you have taught using data you have? (kindergarten and 1st grade did a fantastic job with this one!!)
4.  In parent-friendly terms?  ("This means I can"--see 3rd grade's report to see how they did that)
