BAD NEWS! (For us)
Mary Katherine has accepted a first grade teaching position at Kirksville Elementary! Boo! I mean, "Yay, MK!" Mary Katherine will be teaching closer to home with the teacher she student-taught with, in a grade level she ADORES. I will miss her so much, but you can never blame someone for advancing their career in a way that will bring them deeper fulfillment. WE LOVE YOU, MISS ELMORE!
If you would like to serve on the interview committee to help us find a new 5th grade teacher please let me know and I will include you in on the emails to the SBDM council.
GREAT NEWS!
Do you remember that survey that you completed a long time ago in the winter about your working conditions? The ImpactKY one? The results were released to the public and our school LOOKS FABULOUS!!! I was SO THRILLED AND EXCITED!!! You can go to this website https://www.impactky.org/ and click on Explore 2020 Results Here to see our results and ANY OTHER school in the state. Spoiler Alert - We LOOK GOOOOD (better than anyone in the district!!!) Of course I am never satisfied, so I will be digging-in to see how I can support our working environment even better next year. :)
MORE GREAT NEWS!
