    Self-Reflection/Professional Growth and Development Planning

    Complete Your Self-Reflection/PD Plan Here
    1)  6-12 hours of curriculum -- Week of July 29 - August 2nd
    • All Classroom Teachers must sign up for 6 hours of Curriculum PD
    • AND Classroom Teachers MAY get as many as 12 hours of Curriculum PD
    • BUT...
    • Next Year....we will be tracking common assessment data AND exit slips will be required for EVERY learning target...SOOOOO you may REALLY want to have that additional day so that you can work on assessments and exit slips.
    • 4th and 5th Grade Teachers or Teachers of 2 Subjects -- Talk to me if you want more than 12 hours to work on curriculum.  This can be decided on a case-by-case basis

Math is our school priority - so if you teach both reading and math, YOU MUST CHOOSE at least 6 hours of MATH curriculum work.

    • Required for all Sped teachers (who collaborate), but a GREAT idea for Math and Reading Classroom teachers

    3)  3-6 Hours of GC Tech Training (July 25th)

    4)  3-6 Hours PLE Tech Training (TBD)

    5)  Mental Trauma Strategies Training (August 7th) This training will build on the one we had.  It will get into the "how-to" and the implementation of strategies for helping children with Mental Trauma in the classroom.

    6)  3 Hours of Striving Readers Writing Training (August 5th) - Mandatory for ALL (Except for Special Area Teachers and MSD Teacher)

    7)  Other?  Book Studies?  Guided Math?  Guided Reading?  You tell me!! :)

ADVANCE-ED ACCREDITATION (Formerly Known as SACS)
They are looking for student engagement that allows students to have the opportunity to talk to each other and they are looking for examples of students writing to learn across the curriculum

Be sure to know our Mission - to prepare all students to become productive members of a changing society.

Our school Vision  - Panther Principles

    No need to worry. :)
